- I am first and foremost, a child of God, working out my salvation on a daily basis. Secondly, I am a mother, something that took me a VERY long time to achieve. I have a 13 year old daughter, adopted from China at the age of 1 year. She is the very best part of my life, keeps me on my toes, and challenges me to be a better person every day. Her name means "doubly happy" in Chinese, and it fits her perfectly! For some wondrous reason, God saw fit to give me one of the loveliest kids I have ever met for my OWN! Thank You, Lord! I will EVER be grateful!
